There is something about a little boy in overalls. It makes a cold rainy spring day brighter.
And this little boy in a pair of perfectly broken in second hand overalls was just what we needed today.

This little guy loves collecting rocks and playing in dirt, nothing makes him as happy as wind blowing gently through his little blond hairs while walking by himself down the side walk.
We indulged his daily desires until the sprinkles turned into rain and we had to drag that tot and his runny nose back inside, he did not go down without the fight.

And for your viewing pleasures. My absolute favorite picture of Jeremy, I don't know that it can ever be beat. Look at those chunky little baby thighs! And pleeeease notice that he is pulling his overalls up so he can show off his legs. Not much has changed. And don't you worry, Scott has a pair of overalls just like that coming in the mail thanks to Gma Brown, who also loves a little boy in overalls.

Gardening
We have been spending a lot of time in Redding lately and Scotty Boy loves it. He loves having a big back yard to play in, a pool to swim in and lots of dirt to dig in.
I didn't want to post this picture twice but please notice those chubby little baby toes!
This kid loooooves to be outside. He thinks it is torture when we don't take him out or make him come in.
He prefers the rocks and the dirt over the grass and side walk.
And as much as he loves shoes he knows they optional when it comes to playing outside. He gets that from Momma and Daddy.
And no garden prepping (or trip outside) would be complete without a little dirt eating.

The first swim of the year. It was a little cold but Scotty couldn't wait any longer.

I know this one is blurry but look at that face!!!
All of these faces make Scott look like he wasn't enjoying it, but I promise he loved every single minute of it!

Sorry for the picture over load lately. But I'm not really.
This is Scott, incase you didn't know.
He is 15 months old and one of the sweetest boys I know.
His eyes are as blue as can be and they melt the heart of every one he meets.
He doesn't cuddle often but when he does it is the best.
He always rubs his eyes when he wants to go to bed and no matter how short we cut his little nails he gets those little cuts on his nose.
He loves pillows and blankets.
His perfect little lips are always covered in the perfect amount of drool and his kisses are fantastic.
He knows no stranger.
He asks for kisses from every soul he meets and he expects to plant a big juicey one right on their kisser, he gets disappointed when they give him their cheek.
He knows where his head, eyes, nose, mouth, arms and toes are but calls them all eyyyyyyyyyyyyes.
He is as cute as a button.
I love him dearly.
And I know he loves me.
But right now, all week long, he has been a grump.
Like a mean old man grump.
The kind you send out on the front pouch to sit and be grumpy and only see him to take him his meals.
Grumpy.
He has had a runny nose.
He got a new tooth.
And he learned to hit.
And scratch.
He whines and cries about everything.
He can't reach the rocks from the patio.
I won't let him have my phone.
He cant see every thing I am doing on the counter.
I won't let him walk out into the street.
I make him hold my hand in the parking lot.
He has to sit in a cart at the grocery store.
Grumpy. All day long.
I've heard it is the age, I know he is feeling a little under the weather, but is scratching my face open really needed. I have seriously considered shipping him to Grandma. Please wake up happy tomorrow.
